Potter Intern Opportunity
Busy pottery studio seeking 9 month intern with possibility of extending to 12 months. Ideal for upcoming artist seeking to expand his/her portfolio.
Intern responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Studio Maintenance
2. Gallery Maintenance
3. Customer Service
4. Shipping
Requirements for job:
a. Ability to multi-task and work quickly to get many jobs done in a short
time
b. Flexibility--ability to switch easily from task to task depending on
needs
c. Ability to lift 50 pounds
d. Patience
e. Must enjoy working with people as well as on your own
Compensation and Benefits:
This is a 20 hour/week position. Hours to be agreed upon.
You will receive unlimited free use of the studio and free materials and
firing fees.
25% off any classes or workshops.
Additional opportunity for paid teaching may be available.
